Brad Martin, Interim Fire ChiefInterim Fire Chief Martin began his fire service career at the age of 14 as a Junior Volunteer firefighter in a small combination fire department in California. His career has culminated in a broad scope of experience to include firefighting, EMS, law enforcement and fire investigation. His firefighting experience has been with both state and local agencies. Interim Fire Chief Martin has served 13 years as a reserve police officer and he has been a paramedic for nearly 20 years. He has a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Studies from California State University at Long Beach, and a Masters Degree in Fire Service Leadership from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Interim Fire Chief Martin and his wife Sarah are the proud parents of two energetic boys, James and Calvin, who are 5 and 3 respectively, and a new baby girl named Emma. They enjoy a broad spectrum of outdoor activities to include boating, camping, fishing and spending time with their two dogs Ratchet and Olivia. |
