Brad Martin, MS, EFO, EMT-P
Fire Chief Martin began his fire service career at the age of 14 as a Junior Volunteer firefighter in a small combination fire department in California. His career has culminated in a broad scope of experience to include firefighting, Fire Investigation, EMS, Law Enforcement, and private ambulance service. His firefighting experience has been with both state and local agencies. Fire Chief Martin has served 13 years as a reserve police officer and he has been a paramedic for over 30 years. He has a Masters Degree in Executive Fire Leadership from from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona and a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Studies form California State University at Long Beach. He has completed the Executive Fire Officer Program through the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD and has recently received the prestigious Chief Fire Officer (CFO) through the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE). Chief Martin has made multiple accomplishments and represents the fire district on multiple local, state and regional committees and associations. He annually attends and represents the fire district in Olympia with our fire commissioners to lobby for legislative changes that affect the fire service.
Fire Chief Martin and his wife Sarah are the proud parents of two energetic boys, James and Calvin, and their vibrant daughter, Emma. They enjoy a broad spectrum of outdoor activities that includes boating, camping, fishing, traveling and most recently the reality of the eldest child being enrolled in Drivers Education.
Tanya has been with Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue since March of 2008. Prior to beginning her employment as our Administrative Assistant, she had extensive experience in business and personnel management with a customer service and public interaction focus. Tanya obtained her BS in Social Services and Sociology from Central Washington University and has been a life long resident of Jefferson County.
Administrative Assistant Cray lives in Port Ludlow with her husband Jared and their two children and they enjoy the outdoors, fishing and participating in a variety of sports.
